Danielle Chaney is an accomplished Human Resources professional currently serving as the Director of Human Resources at Common Ground (Bloomfield Hills).  Prior to her role with Common Ground, Ms. Chaney was a Human Resources Generalist with the City of Detroit-Water and Sewerage Department, playing a vital role in the development of policy and procedure as well as assisting with the negotiation of multiple collective bargaining agreements.  

Ms. Chaney is a graduate of Michigan State University and is currently pursuing her passion of diversity and equity in the workplace by obtaining her Masters of Studies in Law at Wayne State University Law School (inaugural class).  Ms. Chaney is also honing her professional craft by providing Human Resources consulting services to grass roots organizations. 

In an effort to provide service to all mankind, Ms. Chaney is an active member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, and when time allows, Ms. Chaney lends her skill set as a certified Life Coach.

Ms. Chaney is honored to be appointed to the Judicial Tenure Commission by Governor Whitmer and is committed to serving the state of Michigan in such an essential capacity.
