- Thomas J. Ryan is a member of the State Bar of Michigan, Oakland County Bar Association, and the Oakland County Ancient Order of Hibernians. He is a past president of the State Bar of Michigan serving as its 66th President from September 2000, to September 2001. Mr. Ryan served on the Oakland County Bar Association’s Board of Directors and was its President from 1993 to 1994. He received his Undergraduate Degree from the University of Notre Dame and his law degree from the University of Detroit Mercy. Mr. Ryan has been in the private practice of law since January, 1977, and is the attorney for the Village of Beverly Hills, City of Keego Harbor, City of the Village of Clarkston, and the City of Orchard Lake Village from May 2001 to April 2011, as well as the prosecuting attorney for the Township of Bloomfield, from July, 1978 to October, 2006.
