Michigan Supreme Court issues opinion and order in Formal Complaint No. 87 as to Hon. James M. Justin-  DETROIT, MI, JANUARY 30, 2012-  On January 27, 2012, the Michigan Supreme Court issued an opinion and order removing Judge James M. Commission posts Respondent's submissions in Formal Complaint No. 88 as to Hon. Sylvia A. Commission issues Formal Complaint No. 88 as to Hon. Sylvia A. James, 22nd District Court-  DETROIT, MI, OCTOBER 27, 2011- On October 26, 2011, the Michigan Judicial Tenure Commission filed Formal Complaint No. 88 as to Hon. Sylvia James of the 22nd District Court, for the City of Inkster, in Wayne County.  A copy of the Formal Complaint may be accessed by clicking here.  In addition, the Commission filed a Petition for Interim Suspension with the Michigan Supreme Court, which may be accessed by clicking here.  The Commission also filed a Request for Appointment of Master to preside over the formal hearing in the matter.
