DETROIT, MI, JUNE 7, 2017- Hon. Karen Fort Hood, judge of the Michigan Court of Appeals, First District, has joined the Judicial Tenure Commission effective June 1, 2017.  Judge Fort Hood was selected by the state's Court of Appeals judges and succeeds Hon. David H. Sawyer, who resigned effective May 31, 2017.  Her current term ends on December 31, 2018.
